That being said, this is a lot better for my usage than having the daemon running all the time, every day, since I only use TeamViewer to occasionally provide tech help for family and friends. I installed Teamviewer 13 with no errors. Installed TeamViewer 13 () deb package sucessfully. Im running Lubuntu 16.04.4 LTS on a Lenovo T41 laptop with 2GB RAM. Im usining Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.4.0-116-generic x8664) in headless mode. I haven't been able to figure out how to kill the TeamViewer daemon upon exiting the TeamViewer application. Login to your TeamViewer account on another machine and click 'Add Remote Computer' and enter the ID noted earlier and the password you entered. ![]() Every time I terminate the connection from Computer A, Teamviewer on Computer A freezes and becomes unresponsive (no response). The only potential downside to this script is that the TeamViewer daemon remains running after the TeamViewer application is stopped. Then I just point the TeamViewer launch icon to the new script I created. Since I don't wish to have the TeamViewer daemon running all the time, I made a script that starts the daemon when I launch the TeamViewer application.
